Urgent Tier2 Info please

I am in UK on a work permit since sep 2006. Does my employer needs to apply for a license from Home Office for the existing WP holders after the Tier2 is implemented?


Also, company is going to move their office in November 2008, so we need to inform Home Office for this technical change but I guess by November 2008 tier 2 would be implemented and to inform home office of this technical change will my employer need license from Home office.

I think you need to be a wee bit more patient bearing in mind that constant bumping and attention-seeking pleas tend put people in a negative frame of mind thereby putting them off from replying.

This week there has been some new information on Tier 2; we are working on updating the website & getting a news item out.

The reason there was no response is that the UK government has not yet published many significant details about how Tier 2 is going to work.

Nobody can answer some of these questions and be sure that they are telling the truth.


Please read the links I posted. A company must sponsor a permit under Tier 2, and that company needs to have authorization from BIA to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship.

HOW that will happen is still something of a mystery, although some ideas of what is likely have been published. BUT, very little of it is official policy.
