Question about Replacement After Visa Expiry

Hello All
My tier 4 visa expires on October 8. my spouse applied for her tier 4 dependent visa later than I. we are still waiting for her decision. provided her decision takes longer than October 8; is there any chance i can extend my visa validity a few more days? it is not because we want to travel together. it is because i want to join my uni, enroll, and pay my fee only after her decision is known and we are sure that she can join me in UK as my dependent. i cant leave her alone in my home country for two years. yes i know the best approach was to apply together but we could not do so for some reason.
any thoughts/guidance is appreciated. thanks!
