My wife had her biometrics in Kyiv, Ukraine on 31/05/18, and she is still waiting for her visa (non-priority). She received the 'not straight forward' email on 30/08/18. On the next day, we were both asked to simultaneous telephone interviews on 06/09/18. We were asked questions about our relationship and her visa application. The ECO told me that the decision would be probably taken within weeks rather than months. We are going to wait another fortnight and then I will escalate via telephone. We want to know where our next physical meeting is going to happen - England or Ukraine!
