Is your mother in law financially dependent on you and your wife?

yes. she is vidow (lost her husband 5 months ago). she has 3 sons and a daughter.

daughter is married. one son is a british citizen. and one is student he has no income.

so we r only looking after her.

what kind of documents should we provide to proof she is financial depending on us??

she is a patient suffering with some heart problems too.

If you are supporting her and she has health problems, then she falls clearly under BOTH the category of "family member" and "other beneficiary".

I do not see any reason to delay if you want to do it now.

You are not sponsoring either person. Your husband has a right to be with you. And your dependent mother-in-law also has a right to be with you and your husband.

Directive/2004/38/EC, does the mother in law have to be financially dependent on them, as well as have health problems, to be eligible? I thought financial dependency, on its own, would be reason enough.

do u mean to say " proof of health problem" will be enough to take her to Uk.
or should i show any documental proof to proof that she is financial depending on us.
