Police caution

Post by ysriram84 » Tue Oct 02, 2018 2:39 pm

In 2009 I got the police warning/caution regarding the small fight/issue at pub, which is other British person mistake.
Now I'm applying for the British Citizenship. Do I need to mention it in application? It happens almost 9 years ago. I don't mention in any visa application including the ILR, as it is just warning.

I don't really remember any details of this incidence.

It is not a major thing. I assume you weren't charged for it. You should be fine. It happened a long while ago.

Good luck

You should answer the questions on the AN form truthfully.

Hi Vinny,

The main issue is I don't know about that incidence which happens 9 years ago. I just remember police took my Name and Address with recorded statement and let me go home.

For all this ( years I applied 4 times the visa and never got any issue and never mention about that incidence in my applications. Which is nothing to do with me expect police recorded my details.

So there is no recorded police reference number or any other details regarding that issue. If I have, I can provided that to HO without any problem.

Hi ;
I'm pretty much same case like yours, as i had one caution only 7 years ago which is now deleted from my DBS. i would like to know how did you deal with your application? did you mention it ? did your AN application been accepted? I'm completely stressed about that situation and confused what i should do.
thank your in advance for sharing your result
