Hi ,

I am applying for my ILR in another 6 months and my jobcode - 2136 is in shortage occupation list.

2136 Programmers and software development professionals
Only the following jobs in this occupation code:
Senior developer employed by a qualifying company, where the job requires a person with a minimum of five years’ relevant experience and demonstrable experience of having led a team.

The following jobs in visual effects and 2D/3D computer animation for the film, television or video games sectors:
software developer
shader writer
games designer
The following jobs in the electronics system industry:
driver developer
embedded communications engineer

I am getting £34,000 at the moment and my job code is 2136. But the clause says SENIOR DEVELOPER EMPLOYED BY THE COMPANY, but i am just a software developer. Do you think it is going to impact my visa. Please help, its really appreciated.

Will i have any problem just because i was not a senior developer, but i worked in the same company for more than 5+ years.

If you are already on SOL then it means the home office have accessed your application as a Senior Developer for them to have awarded you point on SOL , so i will say you are ok to apply under SOL.
