Visitor VISA- Bank passbook instead of bank statement

Hi,

I have appointment for Visitor visa at chennai tomorrow. I am the full sponsor for my dad and i have properly submitted all my financial documents, Rental agreement and BRP copy.

I have properly attaching the cover letter, affidavit for his property and all his property documents. But he didnt get his bank statement ready on time from the bank. and unfortunately bank is on holiday for this entire week
But we have his bank passbook with his photo attached to it. so can we provide the copy of Bank passbook instead of bank statement?

please someone help me on this.
