Passport Collection Query

Sorry for the silly question, but I am new to this whole visa application process. I had the following two queries:

1 - If VFS texts to say that the process visa application GWFxxx is ready for collection, does this mean that the passport is ready to be collected at the VFS centre?

2 - Do we have to bring any additional documents with us to collect the passport, i.e. ID, etc? The text does not state anything on it.

Any help to the above would be much appreciated!

1. Yes, as it clearly states exactly that

2. Presumably your submission receipt with your reference number.
