Unhappy with Case Worker

It looks like we are going to have to reapply at a later date for our visa as the first one is likely to be refused due to technicalities. This is ok and we don't debate this. However we would now like some advice and guidance as to how best to proceed with the next application but we have found that our case worker is extremly uncomitted to giving us any kind of information or guidance relating to our situation and find ourselves just as in the dark as we were the first time we applied. We simply dont want to make the same mistakes again and waste a fantastic amount of money. Has anyone else found this problem? is it justified? if not who can we speak to about it?
