T2 ICT Dependent to T2 General switch

Post by shearmagic » Thu Nov 01, 2018 11:23 am

Hi all,

Asking on behalf of a friend who is currently an Indian national on T2 ICT visa (obtained in 2015). Her husband is currently working on a T2 ICT Dependant visa.

The question is: If her husband manage to get T2 General sponsorship, and she becomes his T2 General dependent, does the cooling off period applies for her and her husband?

Thanks

If he was a dependant for at least a year, then no. Else, yes, unless exempted by salary.

Hi Vinny,

I think that cooling off period rules apply when Tier 2 ICT main application switch to Tier General Main applicant.
Cooling off period does not apply to the dependent ICT even when they have spent less than a year on tier ICT dependent as per my knowledge.
