Earnings documents

Post by gidoc » Sun May 18, 2008 11:05 am

Please confirm if for previous UK earnings: 12 months slary slips and annual P60, will suffice, if both cover for the same 12 month period. It seems 12 months bank statements will add a lot to the paperwork, so are they really required?
Thanks

Thanks for your reply.
I asked because the statement below from ' policy guidance' says you need any two of the following:
It goes on to say
For example: When providing documentation for salaried
employment, payslips should not be provided in combination
with an employer letter, as these documents are both considered
to be from the same source.
It doesnt say anything about P60, which I agree is also generated by the employer
It does say that P60 may not cover all the period but that is different thing altogether.
I think the policy guidance should make it more clear.

Perhaps it is safer to send bank stats anyway.
Thanks
110. For the purposes of paragraph 245F of the Immigration
Rules, the documents specified are as follows:
1. Payslips
2. Personal bank statements showing the payments made to
the applicant
3. Letter from the applicant’s (previous) employer/s
4. Official tax document generated by the tax authority or
employer

yeah, the guidance is not clear.

I am also considering to send P60+Payslips as one of my job only pay cash. I am not able to show my bank statment.

Does anyone in this forum can confirm P60+Payslips is sufficient?

I also considering using a letter from an accountant + P60 or Payslips.

ANYONE PLEASE HELP!

I believe you also need to submit a letter from your accountant as in the guidance document it is stated that P60 and payslips are from the same source and it would not be enough to prove the claimed earnings just sending P60 and payslips.

For salaried employment bank statement is a must. You can then provide either payslips or P60 (if it covers the entire exact period you are claiming for).
Please do not send me any Private Messages as I do not check these.

Payslips & P60 & Letter from Employer are all considered ONE SOURCE, you need 2 different SOURCES hence the second one being BANK STATEMENTS to confirm the income.

I rang HO a number of times, they say if you get paid by CASH then all you can do is write a covering letter explaining the situation but it will be up to the case worker whether to award points or not.

A letter from Employer saying that you were paid by CASH confirming the amount might help the situation. Good luck.
