Hi there
I have lived in Ireland long enough to qualify for LTR. I am really unsure as to what details I have to provide. I called up the Dept of Immigration and the guy was quite blase saying I just needed to write a letter detailing my name, address, phone number and also supply photocopies of all my passport stamps as well as a photocopy of my GNIB card.
Surely there is more to it than that - unless they have relaxed the rules?
I dont want to send in an application and have it sent back to me.
I understand there is also a really long wait - nearly 3 years?
I will be here 8 years before I will get my LTR in that case and could apply for the 8-year one at the gardai. I just dont want to take any chances.
Thanks everyone in advance
