ILR given and no letter

Hi

I was given ILR at the PEO, but did not receive a letter. Am I supposed to get a letter ? Is it compulsory to get the letter with the vignette ?

If my passport gets lost, what other proof do I have of ILR ?

I didn't get any letter either. I felt a bit cheated after paying so much. Make a photocopy of it. The HO should be able to retrieve the relevant info from the vignette number.

I don't know why you ask this question re: letter .... me too didn't get a lr but never expected one ;-)
