Baby born in UK

I am eligible for PR in sep08, my baby was born in 2006 here in UK.
can you tell whether he is elgible for british cixenship once I got my PR in Sep08. I read some other messgae in this forum about register babies ,
can some one elabarote the process invloved.
we are from ASIA. Initla I was in WP switched to HSMP

no.
You have to have a PR when your child was born to apply for british naturalisation.
Apply for a PR for you kid when you get yours and then in a years time the entire family will be naturalised if you want to.

As your child was born in the UK, you can register him/her as a british citizen using form MN1 as soon as you get your PR.

CAN SOMEONE SHARE THE PROCESS TO REGISTER BABY AS USING FORM MN1.

IS HE ELGIBLE FOR BRITISH PASSPORT ONCE BABY IS REGISTERD ?

Yes, a 2-stage process :-
  1. After you have your ILR, register the child as a British Citizen using form MN1
  2. Once you have the Certificate of Registration, apply for British Passport for the child

Yes, the baby can be registered as British national as soon as you are succesful with your ILR, but you need to pay £400. If you got you ILR before your baby was born, then it's free.
