Removal of Visa Sponser

Post by Amoamoamo55 » Wed Dec 05, 2018 8:16 am

Hi
I hope someone can help me. i am married and my wife is from india. It was an arranged marriage and she has been in the uk now for 2 year. Things have got bad and i want to end the marriage but she wont have any of it.
I have had to move out of my parents house and get us a flat as she was threatening to run away and it would be on my head whatever happened to me. People in india were threatening me and i just want the nightmare to end.
Can i remove myself from her visa as a sponsor? how do i do it?
I am still living with her but in seperate rooms as she says if i leave she will harm herself and i dont want that on my head.
Really need some help please as whats best to do as been like this for 6 months

You seems like British/UK settled Sponsor who need to update HO with your present status of relationship about your partner for the curtailment of her visa. To dismiss any false allegation perhaps for domestic violence case you need to become very wise & vigilant and may consider to record voice & video.

Link below is what you would need to do. HO will curtail her visa to 60 days if it is valid for longer than that.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... nsent-form

She will have to find another visa she qualifies for or leave the UK otherwise she risks becoming an overstayer.

How long HO take to curtail her visa could take a few weeks or a few months.

Do you have children??

Hi

Thank you for quick responses.
no we have no children but worried she has started talking to People in community and part of the local Gudwara so she gets a good charcter reference.
I just dont want to be tied to her now.

Just update HO at above link. Don't be afraid as gurdawara can't stop curtailment.
