How to show Gold for UK visit Visa from Pakistan

Hi,
My mother in law wants to apply UK visit Visa to see her daughter, son in law, and 2 grand children (all British citizens), She will submit two sponsor ship letters (from her daughter and son in law), along with more than £45000 savings in their joint account in UK and confirmation letter that they are bearing all the expenses/cost for this visit including flight ticket and all kinds of expenses.
In Pakistan my mother in law is the owner of her property and also she has gold worth of more than 1.5 million PKR (more than 10,000 GBP). she is willing to sell this gold, in this case for how long she will keep this money in her bank account, as at the moment she is not using any bank account.
Can she apply with one month bank statement along with balance confirmation letter from the bank.
