This is for my fiancee. She was working in US for last one year and planning to apply for HSMP from India. The question is ...Is there any problem if she applies with US payslips from India??

Please throw some lights on this

There's no HSMP in India anymore. As of 01-Apr, the new Tier 1 scheme has been introduced in India.

Your partner will not be able to make a Tier 1 application from India unless she is physically present there (in India) because one needs to send the passport along with the Tier 1 application (unlike HSMP). But yes, if she returns to India (or planning to) then she can very well apply from India. Assuming that your partner is in US on a workpermit / H1B, she can submit an HSMP application from there itself.

You can find information about Tier 1 scheme from the BIA website and the Tier 1 policy guidance is available here

Hope this helps.
