what documents to provide your child currently resides with you?

Post by shakqas » Thu Jan 24, 2019 2:40 pm

Hi,

My wife applied for ILR as Tier 1 (General) Dependent and today we received the letter from home office requesting to provide recent documentary evidence to show that your child currently resides with you

can you anyone suggest what evidence do I have to provide?

I already sent my bank statements for the last 12 months which shows child benefits payments I also provided child birth certificate... we are just confused about what other documents we need to send to which proves he's currently living with us

would really appreciate any guidance - Thanks

A few questions as your previous posts are not even clear.

1. Where was child born?

2. Is the child on a dependent visa like your wife or not?

3. Is the child British?

4. Did you state the child information in her application form??

5. How old is the child?

Note that receiving child benefit doesn't prove the child lives with her. You should send any letters addressed to the child or 'parents of xyz child'.
