Has anyone notified HMRC if they change their address?

Post by Ginjarou » Sun Jan 27, 2019 5:23 pm

Hi All,

My Japanese partner is on the 5 year route and has had a Biometric card (BRP) for some 4 years now. We've changed addresses a few times and did the next 2.5 year application which went through fine.

It just dawned on my earlier today - am I meant to let HMRC know if we change our address? We've recently bought our first home and have moved into it.

I've looked online and it does look like we should let them know and I found this form: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... -12-18.pdf

Has anyone else done this? It seems like it's not the end of the world if we don't.

Thanks

No big deal - just call HMRC and they will update on the system
