Tier-1 - documentary requirement for education

Post by asifraza » Sat Jun 07, 2008 9:32 pm

The ‘tier1genpolicyguide.pdf’ states that:

Documentary Requirements – All Applications
64. If the applicant has previously been granted leave under Tier
1 (General) or the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme, and
previously scored points for the same qualification for which he
wishes to claim points in his current application, the applicant
need not resubmit any evidence of his qualification.

Is it for all HSMP holders or for those who applied after HO introduced changes to the scheme back in 2006 and thereafter?

I’m on 1+3yrs on HSMP and now have to move to Tier-1 for extension. Do I need to send the same degree now under Tier-1?

Its for all the HSMP holders, irrespective of when they applied for the original approval provided, they used the same qualification towards claiming the points at the time of original application. If you used this degree to claim points at the time of original approval, you need not re-submit it at all - just mention the same in the cover letter and the application.
