5 year continous period - ILR application

Post by Babasikander » Wed Feb 06, 2019 12:41 pm

Hi all,

Hoping you can help me on the below query.

I am soon going to apply for my ILR but wanted to know on the 5 year period -

As I was not working for 3 months in this period due to switching jobs and my tier 2 general visa application was in the process , does that count towards the 5 year period?

To clarify I was still in the UK and did not leave the country.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Yes it does provided you had legal status in the UK and were not an overstayer.
