Tier 2 Dependant’s eligibility for ILR

Post by Kumarsg » Fri Feb 08, 2019 2:10 pm

Hello Guys,

can you please shed some valuable advice on my present situation.

My wife is eligible for ILR in August 2019.

She was granted Tier2 visa to UK on July 31st 2014 . She arrived in the UK on 12th August 2014.

During that time I was on appeal which was due for Hearing on Oct 9th 2014 .

I had withdrawn my appeal and then made a fresh application(In country) to change my status to Tier 2 dependent .

My Visa as a dependent was then approved on 5th November 2014.

My question is Do I qualify for ILR in the first place if me and My wife apply for ILR at the same time or do I have to apply only for extension as a spouse.

No, you don't qualify at the same time as your spouse. You qualify no sooner than within 28 days before 5th November 2019.

Please do not tag your ilr questions onto other members threads in the tier 2 sub forum. The post has been removed.
