Thanks for all your support so far. Last week I got my ILR as Tier 2 G combination of Tier1 G.

Below is my family history.

Initial Visa Granted on 31st March 2014 as Tier 1 G dependent but enter the UK on 3rd Sep 2014, which is less than 180 days and I think we can count these days towards ILR.
So the Earliest date we can apply will be 3rd March or 4th March based on 28 days earlier application.

What documents do I need to show for them?

Does we need maintenance ?

Does I need letter of employment from my employer.

Can I apply on same online form for wife and add two kids as well to the same application.

Hi All
I am planning to apply ILR Visa for my Family as PBD Dependents. I need some help about the GAP between the Entry Clearance Visa Issue and Entry to UK. Below is the History.

1) Entry Clearance Issued on 31st March 2014 as Tier1 Dependents.
2) Enter the UK 5th Sep 2014 (155 days after the entry clearance)
3) Switched to Tier 2 Dependents on Feb 2017.

According to the Entry clearance issued on 31st March 2014 , their 5 years towards ILR is going to be completed 4th March 2019 as can apply earlier 28 days.

MY question is

1) Can we count this period of 155 days gap between the entry clearance and entry to UK in the continues 5 years towards ILR.
2) in the Set(0) Form, they asking When did you first enter the UK? So this should be 5th Sep 2014 as this date they enter the UK
3) Does they will be counting the 5 years towards ILR from Date Enter the UK (5-9-2014) or Entry Clearance Date (31-3-2014).

****UPDATE**** PBS dependant category is now covered under the Indefinite leave to remain: calculating continuous period in UK guidance!

This means that PBS dependants may now also take advantage of the following:

Period between the issue of entry clearance and entering the UK

The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period. Any absences between the date of issue and entry to the UK are considered an allowable absence. This period will count towards the 180 days allowable absence in the continuous 12 month period. The applicant does not need to provide evidence to demonstrate the reason for delayed entry.

If the delay is more than 180 days, you can only include time after the applicant entered the UK in the continuous period calculation.

It means we can count the time between the entry clearance and entry to UK if less then 180s, which is the case in our application as 155 days.
Also as the Visa of Entry clearance was issued 31st March 2014, so we can plan 28 days before this date, which means we can apply for their ILR on 4th March 2019 onwards any time.
