Naturalisation and Apostille on marriage certificate - needed?

Post by dzevel5 » Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:42 pm

Hi all,

I'd like to apply one day for naturalisation based on me married with British citizen. myself has Polish citizenship however we got married outside Europe at all.

As far as I'm aware, I'll be allowed to use this married certificate as this is the way my wife has used to change her name on her British passport and register our kids.
They've asked for translation so we've done it with one of the certified UK based provider.

my question is:
Should I get apostille from the country of where I got married? if so, where?
1. On the Marriage certificate (different language than English)?
2. On the translation (yes they can do this if I add to it Notary approval)
3. On both?
or else I don't need all of these? this can save me a lot of time and effort..

Thanks.

No apostille required - just certified translation.
I am not an immigration lawyer. My comments are opinions, not legal advice.
