I'm asking for a friend of mine

He has earned £18,600 in the 8 months however he just found a new job which pays £25,000.

My understanding of CAT B

He must have earned £18,600 in the past 12 months prior to the application and He
must have earned £18,600 or more in the new job?

8 Months payslips from previous employer + 4 months payslips = 12 months payslips for CAT B right?
