employee+self employment in 12 months

Hi,

Thanks all for sharing experiences and advices.

Im applying for VAF4a & Appx 2 next month, One more query please.

I was an permanent employee until July 2018 , started self employment from Aug 2018 till present. Is this acceptable to combine (permanent + contract) as 12 months financial statements to Satisfy req £18,600 .(Infact i have only option really)
1)March- July 2018 :5 months from previous permanent employment payslips & P45 (15K)
2) next 7 months limited company earnings? (Aug 2018 to Feb2019)
Please advise which section is most appropriate in Appx 2?

No both cannot be combined. Otherwise If either of you/jointly have six months old savings of about £62500 then it might alone be sufficient to meet the requirement without self employment.

Unfortunately dont have savings for 6mnths.
As I started self employment in July 2018, Can I show required earnings (18,600) in 8 months of self employment ?

I have earnings from permanent employment 17K untill Aug2018 (P45) & my savings of 53K consistent from Oct2018 - Feb 2019. Does this meet criteria (18,600) please advise?
Im still trying to find the table which can combine earnings+savings.

Unfortunately your all available modes of meeting financial requirements cant combine to each other to cover the shortfall. You need 6 months old £62500 instead £53000 which you cannot combine with self employment. Moreover, you left working long time ago which wont be counted along with self employment. Only possibility either you wait until the completion of 12 months in self employment or check whether you or your partner have more savings even else where than UK.
