Applying for ILR

Post by MrCheeks147 » Thu Jun 12, 2008 12:00 pm

Hello,
I would really appreciate it if you someone can help answer my question..

I would be applying for ILR in 2010 but my spouse would be off to University come September 2008 and would be staying in some private residence whilst studying. We currently live together and when she's off to Uni. would that contravene the immigration rule saying we need to be staying together as a couple even though her permanent home would still be with me.

Please advise..Thanks a lot.

hi...i dont think it would matter...as long as you have her name on utility bills at ur address and her added 2 your bank account. Basically her name should appear on at least 5 sources spread over the 2 years.
