Can i travel while application is still on process

Hi. My Tier 2 visa is going to expire on May 14,2019. I have already submitted my extension application last march 9,2019 and still waiting for it. I am now on my 6th week. I am due to travel next week April25th. Should I still wait for my visa or can I still use my current one? Thank you

If you leave the UK, your application will be considered as withdrawn.
(Casa, not CR001)
