RLMT done and COS approve in six month

The COS is approved by HO and while issuing the certificate saying the validity of RLMT is expired.(Raised RLMT in oct-18 and approve COS in April-19 (for March-19 Quota)) In such case how to be proceed to get RCOS ?

RLMT will have to undertaken again. Then RCoS applied for again.

Why was the CoS approved by the home office when they clearly know that RLMT is expired?

I don’t think a RCoS was actually issued.

Actually RCOS was approved on 4th April 2019 as instructed by my employer. The Validity of RLMT up to 9th April 2019.After submitting the documents to HO takes 10th April 2019,hence the validity is expired. Shall we ask HO for delaying to approve the RCOS,hence RLMT validity expired. My employer does not take risk for visa issue. What could be possible way forward to proceed further ?

Ok confused completely.

Your potential Sponsor has a RCoS but they have not issued it to you because the original RLMT adverts etc closing dates were in excess of 6 months ago.

Is that an accurate summary?

The role has to be re-advertised and the full RLMT undertaken. The issue is that you are the known candidate and they hold a RCoS for you so it pretty clear that no one else will be selected....

That lends itself to the point that the second RLMT is not a fair and open competition for the role. It is a potential lose lose situation.

The best way forward is for the Sponsor to run the RLMT absolutely by the book and demonstrate all the steps for selection are totally fair. If at the end of that process they have not found a settled worker then you can be issued the RCoS. The temptation is to cut corners and issue the RCOS the day after the advert closes etc. That will end badly.
