Hi

I got my ILR very recently.

I am looking to apply for passports for my two kids who born in uk before my ILR.

But we have plans to travel abroad in July for their birthdays.

If i apply for register as BC and if it takes longer then 3 months, can we travel with our kids outside the UK? and can they return once their UK passports are issued ?

Can i apply for register as BC while kid is abroad ?

Yes you can however they can only return after their passports are issued
