Successful ILR SET(o) application

Post by KKSINGH » Mon Apr 29, 2019 4:54 pm

Dear Friends,

I want to give a quick update on my successful ILR application. I had many questions before I applied for the ILR, I used this forum to learn a lot, therefore thought of sharing my experience:

1. Applied for ILR Route: Set(O), Super Premium, 5-year tier 2 general (worked for two employers) & 2 dependent
2. Date of appointment: 20 April 2019 (Saturday)
3. Date of approval email received from HO: 21 April 2019 (Sunday)
4. BRP Card: yet to be received, but HO sent a letter stating that I should receive BRP in 10 working days

Few documents submitted by me (about which I had confusion) and it worked:
1. Proof of cohabitation - council tax and rent agreement – in joint name; other documents were address to individuals - Car insurance, bank statement, a letter from letting agent, and letter from HMRC. Documents were for last two years, with a frequency of 2-3 months between different documents.
2. Bank statement: I submitted one-month HSBC bank statement, this was printed at bank branch on bank letter head, but not signed or stamped.
3. Payslip: 1 month (latest)

Thanks
