Is that real? or a lie?

Post by plt22 » Fri Jun 27, 2008 4:17 pm

Hello, I'm an Israeli citizen whos intersted in working abroad and get a residancy after a while.
I found it in the internet http://www.orionservice.ca/ .

They say this "The company's unique approach to recruiting Israeli employees is composed of several factors, among them, and the most important – the agreement between the two countries, that waives the requirement for a tourist visa for Israelis going to Canada to work. This reduces the waiting time for employers: the employee can easily come for a job interview with the Canadian employer, or even come directly to work, and receive a work visa from the Ministry of Immigration at the airport, based on the presentation of an LMO [Labour Market Opinion] and a contract with the employer."

Is that true? I can come to work and get a work visa in the airport?

Thanks for everyone who answer, it looks promising, but I just don't buy it that a hotel in canada can bring employees from Israel to work as un-skilled employees as receptionists , cleaning, ect'

Check the website of the Canadian embassy in Israel:

http://international.gc.ca/missions/isr ... de-eng.asp
Citizenship and Immigration Canada has learned that Visa and Work Permit applicants may be tricked into buying false documents. In several cases, the victims are offered high-paying jobs in Canadian hotels or on offshore ships. In other cases, they are promised a visa (sometimes including travel and accommodation) in exchange of money.

I know people are eager to migrate but please always look through the laws and policies from official government websites, not companies or other third parties.
