Salary on contract lower than salary on CoS

Hello. I got the post for a theatre nurse in an NHS. I am moving to NHS from a private hospital. The HR has agreed to pay me the same salary I am receiving from my previous hospital and said it will appear on my contract. When they applied for a CoS, they put the right salary (salary what I was receiving) but when I received the contract, the salary was now £2,000+ lower. I emailed them and called them but they are not replying. I am starting my job on monday, May 13. What shall I do? :( I am worried as I will lose a lot of money at the time I need it the most. :(
