British Citizenship - New Online Application - Upload documents

Post by jjvargas » Sun Jun 02, 2019 9:56 pm

Hi,
I am Non-EEA and I am applying for naturalisation, my wife just became British Citizen.
I am totally confused on what section to upload the documents on the UKVCAS Website, it also says in the website that the only mandatory document is the passport.
I have the appointment in Croydon on Tuesday (Paid £100) but I already scanned all the documents myself.

Can you please help me decide what section to use for uploading the documents?

Here are the Sections

Other
Residence in the UK
Finances
Proof of Business
Life Events
Medical Information
Sponsors / Employment
Proof of Identity / Travel History
Educational

And these are the documents I have already scanned.

- Life in the UK Test Passed letter - Other ?
- P60s from the last 3 years - Residence in the UK or Employment ?
- Permanent Residence BRP - Proof of Identity ?
- Previous Passports. - Proof of Identity ?
- Settled Status Letter - Residence in the UK ?
- Naturalisation Certificate from Wife - Other ?
- Marriage Certificate - Other ? Life Events?
- Degree Certificate and Transcript from UK University. (Proof of English language) - Life Events?
- Referee Letters - Other ?
- Verification of Employment (Letter from Employer) - Employment or Residence in the UK ?

Not sure if I need this as I am Non-EEA but I am planning to include them in Other or Residence in UK.

- Mortgage statements - Residence in UK
- Council tax 2016-2019 - - Residence in UK
- PaySlips from 2016 to 2019 - - Residence in UK

Would it be enough the P60s as proof of residence in the last 3 years?? I already got the Settled Status (I am including that letter)

Thanks for your help

Here are the Sections The online system caters for all manner of applications. I suggest for AN just put everything in "other" which has been suggested in some posts.

For Non-EEA, P60 is required? I am not sure if it is required to submit P60.
Passport with stamps IN and OUT of UK should be enough to prove residence in UK.

Experts/Members correct me if I am wrong.

I have appointment in few days and not uploading any extra docs other than listed in checklist.
Let me know if we have to submit P60.

Sorry assumes OP was partner of EU citizen - for non-EU citizen passports with stamps in/out are sufficient.
