Applied for EC on 2-June-2008

Hi Friends,

I got my HSMP approval letter on 18-jan-2008. I applied for EC on 2-June-2008. Today is 3-July-2008. Till now there is no information on EC. When I call VFS, they say it has been forwarded to BHC.

How long does it take usually for EC?

I Submitted the following documents.

VAF 9A
VAF 9B
VAF 10 for dependents

Valid HSMP approval letter
All documents submitted for getting HSMP approval letter

Original educational certificates 10, 10+2, degree.
Covering letter.
Bank Statetements showing amount for 6 months for maintenance funds for self and dependants.
Job adverts in UK job sites.
Letter from a friend showing that he is ready to accomodate me. Also, utility bills paid by him (telephone bill). Copy of his passport and Visa.
Salary slips for last 6 months sealed and signed by company


Marriage certificate for wife

Birth certificate for child

Copies of passports and other docs
HSMP proforma
Integra Verification document
