Q. How many months bank statement is required to claim points in the maintenance funds criteria?

Q. To claim points for salary, how many points would i gain for salary in the range of GBP - 20,000 to 24,000 ?

3 months bank statement
23K+ will fetch you 20.
In the website www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk you get the
"Tier 1 Policy guidance".. Read it thoroughly before applying.
This will give you the clear idea about the same.

my serious advice to you is try and read the guidance when you got an hour free properly and you will get much clearer picture on wht this whole game of tier-1 is all about.
