Address verification in home country for british citizenship

Hello Guys,

I am applying for my british citizenship next month. Would immigration officers do any address verification in my current country of nationality ? The reason is in my current passport my address is not updated. Do i need to submit copies of my current passport ? and do i need to update my address in current passport before applying for citizenship here ?

Yes you have to upload your passport to prove residence in the UK.

Your home address in home country is irrelevant!!!
