Can We Spend Our Money?

Hi All,

We have just submitted our spouse Visa application and are now waiting for the result. We applied using 100% savings, not income, for the financial requirement. My question is, is it safe to now spend some of that money, or could there potentially be follow-up checks as part of the application?

It would be wise not to spend it until you get the BRP in hand.

You may also want to keep in mind that you will need to meet the savings or income threshold again in 30 months/two and a half years time.
