Spouse Visa

Post by zaraktoheed786 » Mon Jul 29, 2019 6:29 pm

Hi Guys,

I have few questions in regards to a spouse visa.
I have applied for a visa for my MRS to join me in the UK.
I have self uploaded the documents in the VFS website and got the appointment date but I had few questions.

Do I need to give the documents file to anyone even though I have uploaded the documents my self online?
What documents my MRS will need to take for the biometrics appointment?
Does she need TB certificate with her on arrival at the airport if the visa has been granted?

Please assist.

If you have successfully uploaded all of the documents on VFS Website then your MRS only has to take

A) Her passport
B) Printed document check list
C) Appointment (from VFS) confirmation letter
D) Printed application form

I hope the above helps!

Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it.
With regards to TB certificate on arrival, does she needs to bring the certificate with her?

It isn't necessary really. If the visa is granted, the officer can assume the TB certificate has been issued.

However, to be on the safe side, I suggest your wife to take the visa approval letter and the TB certificate (even if it's expired at that point) with her when she reaches the UK Border Control, in case the officer wants to look at them.

Good luck :)!
