No Invitation to a Ceremony

Post by Rahmz906 » Tue Jul 30, 2019 3:50 pm

My application for Naturalisation was approved on the 9th July. The letter says it should take no longer than 3 weeks to get an Invitation letter. I’ve emailed Home Office no reply. Its been hard finding work as they all ask for Biometric Resident Permit which I’ve never had, all I have is stamp in my expired passport showing I have Indefinite Leave to Remain. Can I get any help?

HO sends the certificate to your local council after which you should be able to book your ceremony. The approval letter and invitation letter is often the same letter

I haven’t received an email back from the Home Office. I called Southwark Council, they said can’t proceed with my ceremony without the invitation letter.
