spouse visa IHS

applying spouse visa from india from gov website try to pay IHS is charging 107124 INR ( 1 pound = 84 current rate)is almost 1200 pound what is the reason to charge us more ?

That fee is correct. It covers the first 2.5years.

Dear rcjn,

New IHS fee from January 2019 is £1200.
A 100% increase.
