Tier 2 Dependent Change of Name

Hi

I am on a Tier 2 dependent visa and have just successfully changed my name on my passport to include my husband’s surname.

I need advice regarding the relevant form I need to complete.

MCC? If yes do I get a response from the home office? And do they just send a BRP to me automatically? Can I continue to use my old BRP without needing to inform the home office as my new passport mentions my old passport number.

Or is there any other form I need to complete as don’t want any problems later on.

You would need to apply for a new BRP in your new name. Nothing gets sent 'automatically'.

I am currently completing the TOC form to apply for a biometric Resident Permit. I’m being asked for passport details.

I have a new passport with the new name.

Should I enter details of the new or old passport?
