1. Letter from employer - for what? Not required.
2. Masters degree certificate - for what? Not required.

If you've been in UK for less than 12 months, then you need to show maintenance funds of 1600 pounds for each dependents. Otherwise, 533 pounds for each.

Passport is good enough for age proof of dependent children (under 18), so there is no need for age certificate of dependents. Remember that your dependents can make an in-country application only if they are in UK in a immigration category that allows them to switch. And make sure you include the dependent applications in the same envelope - otherwise you will have to shell out 395 pounds for each dependent application.

And remember, you only need to pay reduced fee of 350 pounds only.

And please change the subject line of your initial message to something else. Now that FLR(HSMP) form is to be used by pre-Dec '06 HSMPians for their extension application .... such a subject line is bound to create a lot of confusion (as is evident above).

You fall into the Tier 1 scheme of things!

Thanks for your reply

Since the guidance notes states that I need to maintain myself and the partner without recourse to public fund, I thought showing a letter from the employer mentioning the pay scale would be added advantage.

Since I claimed points for the Master degree I planned to show the degree certificate just in case.

Since I know they always find ways to reject than to approve the applications.

I am here in the UK for more than 12 months and my partner had an entry clearance to come to this country.
