Right to work check when application pending

Dear users, can anyone advice me how to check right to work online? I applied for Set O and my current BRP expired but I've seen in this section some people are still able to check this. Thanks

Do we still put in the old BRP number ?

That I am not sure.

If I have to make an educated guess based on the fact that it still shows the decision status with a previous LTR BRP card, it would probably show you the current leave to remain regardless of validity of the BRP card you hold.

It it shows it shows. If it doesn't, that's just one less avenue to check the status of the application.

Right to work checks will be done by the employer via employment checking service. You must give them your Case/Application ID which enables them to get a positive response from the UKVI

I think OP is just trying to track his ILR application progress by checking if his work status has changed.
