Hi

I have read the rules that we need to show the latest bank statement preceeding the applicaiton ie dated 7 days before i file my application. I need just small suggestion. I will be showing last 13 month bank statement so from which date to which date the statement should be for it to valid by VFS if i plan to submit my case on 25th July this months. Please suggest friends...

If you are submitting last 13 months' statement then (elementary mathematics suggests) it should be dated be 19-25 June 2007 to 19-25 July 2008.

If you want to submit last 15 months' statement then the dates should be 19-25 April 2007 to 19-25 July 2008.

If you cant submit last 15 months' statements (because you opened account late, etc.) even then it is ok, would be helpful to write a small note in your cover letter. Your application wont be rejected because you submitted 13 months statement and not 15 months statement.
