Accommodation needed for Tier 2 Dependent application

Hi All,

1.I am currently working on Tier 2 General, and I am in the process of applying a dependent visa for my wife. Since I work on client side, my organization has provided me with a stay in a service apartment which has agreement with the organization(not me). Hence, currently I do not have any address proof of staying in the UK. Can someone please confirm if any address proof is mandatory while applying for a dependent visa.

2. Is it necessary to rent an apartment and provide its rental agreement as an address proof or a shared accommodation rental agreement is sufficient. Moreover, would a rental agreement suffice in the first place or some kind of bills or council tax payment proofs is needed.

if the dependent in country or out of country ?

if in country then council bill, water bill or joint bank statement will do.

if out of country, then some proof of telephone calls and marriage certi, with the accomodation u have will do..

I dont think you need accommodation proof. Thats an added advantage but not a must.

Maintenance funds in your bank account for each dependent matters.
