hi there (sorry if this was posted in the wrong section)

my wife's on a spouse visa, her 2 yrs and 9 months will be up in Feb 2021

when you apply again, is there anyone here who know what the English test is called and what Qs they ask please.
CEFR level A1 in speaking and listening would this be it?

She needs A2 or higher for an extension on FLR(M). A1 won't be acceptable.

She will need A2 on extension but doing B1 is more wiser. A1/A2/B1 all are similar except their completion time which vary from 1 minutes to 5 minute. Usually an A1 certificate holder can easily do A2/B1.

Completion time = how long the test is, ie 10 minutes, 20 minutes etc.

How long does the test take?
Life Skills tests are completed in one short session:

IELTS Life Skills - A1 Speaking and Listening: 16 –18 minutes
IELTS Life Skills - A2 Speaking and Listening: 20 minutes
IELTS Life Skills - B1 Speaking and Listening: 22 minutes.
