Extended Family Member Visa - Waiting Time frame

Post by amaherchandani » Sun Sep 22, 2019 11:22 pm

Hi,

I found this platform interesting and helpful for the knowledge of the visa application I applied.

I applied for the EFM EEA Application on 4th of September by Post. I applied under the regulations for the durable partners and cohabitation for 2 years.

Its been 16 days as of now and I'm stressed out as I'm over staying at the moment. I don't come under the coverage of Section C - So I also had to take long break from my work.

I'm not sure how I can communicate with them or what should I tell them to speed up my process for the application as I'm overstaying in the country and it is not good either for the country and not for me.

I need some light on my visa process so I can make some actions to speed up to get COA letter.

Hi,

After how many days did you receive your biometrics letter? Also how did you apply? Online or post?

Did they send you any confirmation letter?

I recommend having a look at the timelines only post. You'll notice that recent applications (including for EFM) are taking between 2 to 3 months. My application from start to finish took 11 weeks. If you read the timelines you can see when people received their COA and biometrics letter. I applied by post and received an email confirming receipt of application. I had the documents (and decision letter) returned to me by prepaid Royal Mail Tracking envelope so that I could check online and know what day they would arrive.

Best of luck!

I recieved my biometrics about three weeks after I submitted it by post. They sent me a confirmation letter about 3 days after I sent it.

What type of application you made and is it a unmarried partner visa?

Did you receive your COA?

Email on this address :

nweurocoarequests@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

This is the email specially for those people who have not received there COA

I'm not sure why they haven't responded at all. I'll go to check today at the post office if they have deducted £65.00 from the postal order. Such a horrible time frame

I have checked my bank accounts and they took £65 from my account on the 12th august so not sure why I haven't received my COA. I will email and see what they say

Details on your Enrolment Letter

Post by amaherchandani » Thu Sep 26, 2019 10:35 am

Can anyone explain me the meaning of this quotation

"Please be aware if you have had a previous Home Office record, the details on your enrolment letter will reflect this record. Your requested personal details have been recorded and a caseworker will consider whether these can be amended later in the consideration process."

EEA EFM - COA

Post by amaherchandani » Sat Sep 28, 2019 7:10 pm

Hi everyone, I would like to put up my one of the queries as I'm confused about. I understand that the extended family member cannot have the COA with work but has it been ever possible to request them and get it the COA with work?

I have given all the documents as requested in my application and also the proof of durable relationship.
