issue with citizenship certificate - appreciate any help/advise

I laminated(stupid of me) the citizenship certificate of my 2 children and applied for their passport. received a letter toady asking to send unlaminated certificates, replacement costs around £250 per person...is there a way I can get this sorted without spending for replacement copy? any help would be highly appreciated

Unfortunately not. You will need to get replacements.


Hmpo states very clearly that Laminated documents will not be accepted.
