Hi
My in-law is a German national his wife is non-EU resident of Germany. They wanted to visit us in UK together. We applied for visit visa as Family member of EEA national. We have done this 2 times and both were successfully granted for 6 months to visit. normally takes just over 2 weeks. this time we received an email from UKVI after 2 weeks that decision is made and we will be contacted by Visa application centre to collect the passport. it has been 10days since receiving UKVI email and visa centre says they have not received the documents yet! it has been more than 1 month since she applied and now we are worried if the documents got lost in transit.

Do you know if this is normal since we are approaching Brexit/end of year? if not who should we get in touch to follow up the matter? where should we start?

Many Thanks
